Getting a good job in an MNC is a dream of every job aspirant. Trying to get a job can be difficult in itself, trying to land one in your dream company can be even more daunting. We live in an era where the job market is extremely competitive and ruthless. The resume is the first point of contact between a candidate and an employer. Pick out the main keywords and responsibilities listed in the notification for the job ad and tweak your resume in a way that shows that you are the perfect fit for the job on offer. The hiring manager always has to whittle down big piles of resumes. So, making this first impression a good one is critical in getting ahead in one’s career.

Once your CV is shortlisted, you will get a call from HR for the first technical MCQ round. The first MCQ round is to test your basics of JS.

Round 1:-

You have to solve 20- 25 MCQ questions of Javascript in around 30 minutes. The questions are from basic JS, ES6 concepts (Both theory as well as coding output questions). The questions are easy if your basics are clear.

Round 2:-

After getting shortlisted from round 1, the second round was the technical interview round. The questions were asked from ES6, React JS.

Some of the interview Questions are:-

  1. What is arrow function in javascript?
  2. Hoisting, promise, Pure Function in JS
  3. How to check if an object is empty or not?
  4. React Lifecycle
  5. Redux flow
  6. Difference between Promise and Observables?
  7. Call, Apply and bind
  8. Uses of lifecycle in React hook.
  9. Data-binding, Lazy Loading
  10. spread operators

Round 3:-

It was also a technical round in which they asked me to share my screen and do coding in stackblitz. Along with Oral, it was a programming test of React JS. This round comprises more questions from HTML, CSS, and basic JS.

Questions:-

  1. Box Model, Grid, FLexbox
  2. Spread and rest operators
  3. New features in HTML5
  4. HTML Web Storage

Coding Question:-

  1. Render JSON from parent to child component.

Round 4:-

The last technical managerial round was conducted. The manager asked about previous work experiences. It was a general technical 1 to 1 discussion about my previous projects, languages, etc. Server-side rendering-related questions were asked.

Technical front-end interviews are difficult. That’s a fact. Not only do you need to have a solid knowledge of computer science, but also an understanding of things like build systems, web performance, and CSS layout engines. So, You need to work very hard to acquire a job in top companies.
